Chan Kam On & Leung Ki followed him. Just then Tai Chung Ping came

to me & we began a game of chess. We had made four or five moves

when I heard cries of 'safe life'. I recognised Leung Ki's voice.

I stood up & saw accused running up Chinese St. Accused was then

almost at Queen's Rd. I then saw a crowd so I walked up and saw

Leung Ki lying outside Tak Hing shop. I saw a wound on his g

thigh & he was holding the back of his neck.

When I first saw accused he was sitting on a stool. I saw him

walk up the street with Leung Ki & Chan Kam On following.

They were about a foot behind him. Accused was not backing away

from the other two men. They had gone only a pace or two when I

began my game,

I never noticed a scar on Leung Ki's fore head. About three months

earlier Leung Ki was sick & went to hospital. That time he was

wounded & was taken to hospital. He was in hospital a little over

a week. At chess I was facing Des Voeux Rd. I turned round when I

heard the cries.
